Prices for a double room start from £95.00 per night including breakfast for two people. There is a £15.00 per night reduction for single occupancy. All bed and breakfast room rates are shown on our online booking system.
The “Room Only” tariff is a £20.00 per night reduction of the appropriate room rate for double occupancy, or £10.00 per night reduction for single occupancy. Room Only bookings can only be made by telephone.
A minimum booking for 2 or 3 nights is preferred, particularly over weekends, bank holidays and during the period June – September. Single night bookings are only accepted at the owners’ discretion and are subject to a surcharge of £5.00 – £10.00 per room.
A deposit equivalent to the charge for the first night’s stay is payable on booking and the balance is payable on arrival. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details and for our cancellation policy. Booking with us confirms that you have accepted our terms and conditions.
Check in time is 4.00 – 6.00pm. Please advise us in advance if you expect to arrive outside these times. We ask that guests check out by 10.30am on the day of departure.
Boscombe B&B is built on a sloping site and access to the ground floor entrance is via a flight of steps in the garden. The Breakfast Room is on the ground floor, but all guest rooms are at first floor level. Our location might make access difficult for people with restricted mobility.
We regret we are unable to accommodate children under 16 years old and do not accept pets of any description.
A deposit equal to the cost of the first night’s accommodation is payable at the time of booking. For stays of one night only, full payment is required on booking. We can accept payment of the deposit using most major credit or debit cards securely by phone or online via our booking system, but we regret we are unable to accept American Express.
The full balance for the remainder of your stay is payable on arrival, when we can accept payment by card or cash (Sterling). Please note, we are unable to accept payment by cheque.
We are fully PCI DSS compliant. Your cardholder details will be stored securely and will be used for balance transactions in respect of cancellation charges or for no show events, in line with standard Industry Practice.
If you cancel or alter your booking the following policy will apply:
Cancellation 21 or more days before arrival date – we will refund your deposit less a £20 deduction to cover administration and card charges. Refunds will only be made after bank clearance of your deposit, normally within 7 working days.
Cancellation within 21 days of arrival date – no refund will be given.
Cancellation within 3 days of arrival date, or you fail to arrive (no show) – full booking charge will apply.
Delayed arrival or early departure – the full booking fee will be charged and no refund will be made. If your arrival is delayed please let us know so that we don’t re-let your room.
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover the full cost of your holiday as no exceptions can be made to the above terms and conditions.
If we are unable to provide your reserved accommodation due to circumstances beyond our control we will take the following action:
If only the booked room is affected, we will allocate you another room if available.
If we have to cancel your booking, we will contact you at the earliest opportunity and your deposit will be refunded in full.
We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you in acquiring alternative accommodation and the refund of your deposit will end our liability with regard to the original booking.
In order to complete your booking we need your name, address, telephone number, email address and payment information. To comply with current accommodation provider legislation we also need the name(s) of any other guest(s) included in the booking.
Payment information is processed securely online through the facility operated by Freetobook. Boscombe Bed & Breakfast is fully PCI DSS compliant.
Your email address will be used to send confirmation of your booking, and to ask for feedback about your stay after you have checked out. We do not use your details for marketing purposes or to keep in touch with you following your stay.
Your information will be stored for no longer than the period necessary for us to meet our legal obligations e.g. for accounting purposes required by current financial regulations.
